As I said I thought a lot about my next walk while drinking that expensive bottle of water. After a very hot July in Zurich and after looking at my personal map where I marked my walks, I decided that it looks very incomplete that line that ends in Manchester. So I packed my Carrix once more and booked a flight to Manchester to continue from where I stoped in March. Yesterday I arrived here.
Manchester is a beautiful city with astunning architecture. Especialy the area around Rochdale Canal. All the old factories have been restored and new houses have been built in between. Now the locals live here surrounded with great pubs with beer gardens along the water. It was a warm day yesterday and these gardens were all full with groups of happy people.
Today I followed the Rochdale Canal and the Trans Pennine Trail into Warrington. A quiet path with almost no people.
